
Adria is the middle sister of the Elf Sisters. Her mother, the queen of the Elves, taught her the art of the sword and combat magic. With this knowledge, Adria became captain of the Elves' army, and she hunts down creatures of Darkness throughout the Earth in service to both her race and her deity. Adria was the one who discovered the queen's body after the creature murdered her. Years later, the creature returned, and Adria's battles with it are told in the first book of Elf Sisters, "A Daughter's Revenge".

Anastasia is the youngest of the Elf Sisters. Her mother instructed her in scholarly pursuits, one which was the ancient language of the Elves that she uses to translate the tome of the Light. During her adventures she uses her scholarly knowledge to help find the seven Stones of Creation, which the sisters will need for the final battle with the Light's counterpart, the Darkness. As well as her own intelligence and knowledge of many aspects of the world to guide her throughout her adventures that are told in "Scholar's Wisdom".

Celestina is the oldest of the Elf Sisters. Her mother, the queen of the Elves, taught her powerful magic and she became an adept sorceress. Celestina's struggles with the Darkness and its vessel are told in "A Sorceress's Power". In this book, she must stop the Darkness from stealing the youth of humans with its diabolical concoction: a wicked potion, designed to strip a sentient person of his or her youth. Celestina cannot do this alone, though. She needs help from her sisters, as well as her deity, the Light.
